Lepton Fisheries is definitely a hidden gem! Went to Huddersfield to see a friend - got a craving for Fish & Chips, and lucky me, spotted this lovely Fish & Chips Shop whilst driving on Wakefield Road! It is spotlessly clean and tidy inside the shop - shop owners are a nice couple, greeting me with bright and cheerful smile and introduced their menu to me. The food was freshly prepared - I have never tried batter as crispy as that so I was so delightful! Back to London now but still think of such delicious Fish & Chips from time to time... Definitely worth to visit and will go visit again!

Lovely fresh food, crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle, the perfect fish is to be found here! Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a little place to sit outside with my dog

I’ve been going to this chippy since 1988 & there’s been some great & some “not so great” owners over the years but Roy & Sam & definitely up there with the very best since they always greet customers with a friendly happy welcome & of course serve fabulous fish 🐟 & chips 🍟 that are reasonably priced & are always fried to complete perfection!!! 😋 💖

Probably the best fish & chips we've had for a long time. They are cooked traditionally in beef dripping & while they might not be the healthiest they were lovely & cooked to perfection. The owners were very friendly. There are a couple of picnic benches outside if you want to eat them there.
